Q: I’m new to acting. Can I still join?

Absolutely. All levels are welcome. This was Lee Strasberg’s philosophy, and it’s been proven to work well.

Q: I’m an experienced actor. Am I going to be able to work with other experienced professionals?

Definitely. Your scene partner will be at a similar level to you.

Q: Can I receive private coaching from Robert or Alejandra?

Yes, either in person, on set or by Zoom. We often coach actors on film sets, individually or the whole cast.

Q: What kind of payment plans do you have?

Payment plans can be determined on a case-by-case basis. Contact us with any requests.

Q: Do you offer scholarships or financial aid?

IT New York offers one scholarship per workshop for actors that have taken prior workshops with us. IT New York offre une bourse par workshop aux acteurs et actrices qui ont déjà participé à nos workshops. For French residents participants: We invite you to explore the financing support options available through Afdas, France Travail, and Region. For Germany: Members of the GVL (German Collecting Society) can apply for a financial contribution.

Q: Do I need to speak English?

No, the Paris workshop is conducted in both English and French. The scenes can be done in either English or French. Your scene partner will speak in the same language as you.

Q: What other artists could benefit from your workshops?

We’ve had many writers, directors, cinematographers, songwriters, composers, dancers, singers and even visual artists discover techniques in our workshops that help them find physical and emotional conditions in themselves as they create and perform their work. These artists also contribute in a wonderful way to the artistic spirit of the workshops.
